It is spoken primarily in Croatia, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by a minority in Italy and Slovenia. The most important Croatian immigrant enclaves are found in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Peru, South Africa, Sweden and the United States (more specifically in Cleveland, Ohio and the state of California).
Croatian is the official language of Croatia. It has official status in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia (Vojrodina).
